The botanical path boasts a rich flora and develops along the road that connects Torre d'Ere to Gola S. Elena. You can reach it either with your private vehicles (it has parking areas near the entrances) or by public transport, and it is suitable for everyone.

The peculiarity of the route is the possibility of encountering countless plant species and tall shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub, all mapped on special signs, such as:

Female Cistus, Montpellier Cistus, Sessile-leaved Cistus, Ivy, Fillirea, Holm oak, Mastic, Myrtle, Olive, Venus' navel, Parietaria, Aleppo pine, Butcher's broom, Gaggia, Robbia, Downy oak, Stracciabrache.

In addition, there are some panoramic points, such as the Forte S. Elena viewpoint, rest areas with benches for your picnic, an old furnace, dating back to 1849 and some aqueduct stations. Watchful eyes will also be able to discover the dry stone walls, typical Roman constructions, built with stone blocks suitably arranged and assembled.

A magnificent nature trail, suitable for the whole family, in search of peace and freedom, with wonderful views towards the sea.
